A slight easing

Of Ignorance

Old age

The decades come and go

And I still don't chew my food enough

But a lot better than 10 years ago

More often now I can remember

That it's not what's going on 

That I react to

It's how I interpret it

Now more than ever before

I can create gratitude and good humor

Instead of anger and tension 

Problems have become possibility

There's an awful lot more to learn

Hope I can live long enough
