Rings hollow in the hallways

Of time

I think of all my "important" activities of

40 years ago

And how all these small minded

Concerns and difficulties were totally

Washed away in the river of time

Is my opinion of their work

Any value to Caesar or Lincoln

How can I add value today

To my family, community and world

I'll be kind, compassion and generous

All this activity is very temporary
