Hey old-timer
Move like you’re alive
You’ll be pain-free soon enough
The ravages of time have inflicted many a change
I creep around half dead and feel really strange
But once in a while when the stars are just right
I wake full of energy and move with delight
Why does this happen I don’t understand
Good food red wine it’s totally unplanned
From the high hill of old age I look back at my life
And wonder why I created so much useless strife
Finally I learned how to manage my mind
So I could be grateful, loving and kind
The best time in life comes at the end
At last I realized it’s all just pretend
Hey old-timer
Move like you’re alive
You’ll be pain-free soon enough
