Each moment 

Is a place

 I've never been

Start the coffee feed the dog

Sit and write a silly blog

Safe and comfortable in every way 

I hardly notice it's another day  

Then one morning the electrics out 

Today I'll travel a different route 

Nuclear war       A heart attack

A broken leg or arterial plaque

 I'll stay aware of my good fortune 

 And really savor my large portion 

Each moment 

 is a place

 I've never been
