More than once I have raced off

With a clear plan for a future outcome

And wound up in a very different place

My confidence turned out to be

 Grounded in ignorance

I have a very narrow band of expertise

And the few times I stayed with In it

The plan came out something like the vision

I will continually expand my expertise

And act within its limits
