Wisdom

Is rare

It started out when I was young

A well-meaning teacher waging her tongue

I learned useless stuff to pass a test

It left my interests unaddressed

Look around at how it came out

Over half of us are big and stout

Philosophy, art and what to eat

If taught at all were incomplete

All facts are in hand and completely free

The curious ones will learn with glee
