I have no idea why I started it
My dear mom would throw a fit
I'm not talking about a few bite marks
Like it was attacked by a school of sharks
It's like so much else I learned to do
It made no sense but on I would chew
So now I'm old and I can see
That there's many ways that I can be
So now is the time to become responsible
To work hard and create what's possible
