Boundaries 16

There is a soft boundary between being aware
And being a reactive, emotionally driven robot
Many years ago
I read Joseph Goldstein's Insight Meditation
He  clearly describes this project of
Training ourselves to be aware
It's really simple not easy 
   Just motivate my self to:
1. Stay aware of my thoughts and
    and how I am reacting to them 
2. Meditate 
3. Study the Buddha ,Seneca ,Marcus Aurelius etc
4.Stay healthy ,fit, hydrated and rested 
  (it makes clear thinking much more likely) 
5. Remember to remember my intention
Never relent
After 20 yrs or so I noticed a tremendous difference
