I am always

Center stage

In the great pageant

Of self creation

But who am “I”

The director of a swarm of “I”?

The one that is writing this?

Or the one that lies,tells the truth,

Gets depressed ,watches TV to much

Talks to much, helps the downtrodden

Boasts, eats too fast, doesn't listen,

So many voices and states of mind

Robert DeRopp called it a

A basket of puppets

And no one can tell which one

Will step into the footlights next

They are all behaving

A lot better lately
