 Confidence without Clarity

 Has made me charge off in the wrong direction

 Absolutely sure, I'd create perfection

As soon as the flaws became really clear

 I'd cut and run without a single tear

Here's the lesson I learned too late

 That really would've changed my fate 

Before you start, take counsel with  friends 

This will completely change the way it ends
